New Face Productions Scholarship

All Montezuma and La Plata County Participants in the Arts

 

Two one-week residency scholarships (7 nights each), generously sponsored by New Face Productions, are available fall 2020 for practitioners in the arts from Montezuma and La Plata County,

In order to apply, you must be a resident of Montezuma or La Plata County and an emerging, established or mid-career practitioner in the arts.

 

New Face Productions is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating cutting edge, exciting and profitable cultural events to promote and support the Durango arts community and other non-profit organizations in the community by enhancing the lives of artists, residents and visitors alike in Durango, CO.  New Face Productions has previously supported many Willowtail Residencies.

 


Full Residency Scholarship includes:

  • One fully furnished cabin with full kitchen and standard amenities,
  • Full use of the 60-acre property, including canoes,
  • 24-hour access to the 600 sq. ft. Working Studio.
  • Seven (7) night stay (check in: 4:00-6:00 PM; check out: 11:00 AM)
  • Any resident awarded a scholarship is required to participate in the Community Involvement Program during or after their Residency. This Program shares your work, excitement and appreciation of the residency scholarship through a presentation, workshop, reading, exhibit, class, etc.  It helps educate and give back to the local, four corners community.

 

Submission of an application, including resume, project proposal and work samples will be reviewed by the Board and Advisors of Willowtail. Submission requirements are available on our application page.
