Anne will read poetry and prose from her book “In Rounds” bringing alive life’s ordinary and extraordinary experiences. Her live readings leave an impression on the mind, heart and body of the listener. As that astonished writer from her teen years through college and on through decades of family life and career as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Anne’s insightful writing is her storytelling. Stories and reflections that may resonate with your story as well.
Her presentations will include time for questions and answers, uplifting conversation and book signing. Come join us at our beautiful nature preserve for this inspiring celebration!

Brenda lives and works in Colorado Springs. Growing up in southeast Kansas in the 1960’s, her work often pays homage to the gender roles embedded in that time period and rural American place. Her sculptures are typically ceramic dress forms with narrative imagery on the surface that appear nostalgic and delicate while at the same time critiquing traditional women’s roles or expectations. Jones states, “I tell stories in my work, and I invite you to interpret these on various levels as you take the visual journey.
