Residencies

Full – Scholarship and Partial – Scholarship Residencies:

Willowtail Springs Nature Preserve and Education Center provides a backdrop where artists and scientists can integrate and renew their work within the beauty and inspiration of a unique setting. The Nature Preserve and the Education Center has been structured to sustain into perpetuity the availability of a unique place to work and stay.

You, the artist or natural scientist, bring your projects, research and pioneering thought.  We provide the space. Our donors, through the Residency programs, afford you the time to meditate, reflect and create in a very special place.

Willowtail offers one-week to three-week funded residencies for those in the arts, ecology and natural sciences. Our aim is to offer time and space, against the backdrop of a natural oasis, for practitioners to reflect, be inspired and create. Each resident is required to deliver a community offering within one calendar year of their residency, whether this takes the form of a lecture, slideshow of work, exhibition, etc., is up to the resident.
